PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Homicide detectives are working to learn what led up to a shooting that left a 17-year-old boy dead in Suitland on Friday. The Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD) said that on Dec. 13 around 4 p.m., officers were called to the 3400 block of Pearl Drive for a shooting. There, first responders found 17-year-old James Fitzgerald of Suitland lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds. He died at the scene. DC Council moves forward with recommendation to expel Trayon White from office As of Monday, PGPD said detectives are still working to determine a motive and identify a suspect in connection to the case. Police said it is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
