PORTALES, N.M. (KRQE) – Eastern New Mexico University students won't be seeing a hike in tuition next fall. ENMU's Board of Regents approved a zero percent tuition and fees increase for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The school said this is possible because of state funding, strong enrollment, and the retention of more students.

“ENMU remains committed to providing access to affordable, high-quality education, ENMU chancellor James Johnston stated in a news release. “I appreciate the Board of Regents’ support of our efforts and the great work of our staff to, once again, keep our tuition and fee rate flat.”
This marks the fourth year ENMU has not raised tuition.
