MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A former FedEx employee is accused of stealing more than $12,000 in jewelry from a package she was handling at the Memphis hub and then selling it to a local jewelry store. Hannah Davis, 26, was booked in the Shelby County jail Thursday for theft of $10,000 to $60,000 in property after a warrant was issued for her arrest. According to police, on April 26, Davis sold several gold Figaro necklaces and a unique Quantum Jewelers diamond pendant to Irwin Jewelers in Memphis. After the sale, an Irwin employee contacted Quantum and was told the trademark pendant and the other jewelry belonged to Quantum and were supposed to be delivered to them via FedEx.
