(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo County Sheriff's County arrested two men for burglarizing a Pueblo County auto salvage yard on Thursday, Dec. 12 with the help of K9 Zeus. Around 9 p.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to Daurios Auto Truck located at 3701 E. Eighth Street after the owner reported seeing two men in the yard on security cameras. Deputies, including K9 Zeus and his handler Deputy Chris Carter, responded and began searching the yard. Deputies gave several commands for the suspects to surrender, but they did not comply. Zeus found one suspect, 27-year-old Antonio Factor, hiding under a car and held him until deputies were able to arrest him. Zeus also found the second suspect, 29-year-old Aaron Cleghorn, hiding under a car a short distance away. Upon seeing Zeus, he surrendered and was arrested. Both suspects were booked into the Pueblo County Jail and arrested for second-degree burglary, criminal mischief, and conspiracy. Factor also had an outstanding warrant. “Deputies did a great job of securing the perimeter around this business and then with the assistance of our K9, was able to quickly get these suspects into custody,” said Pueblo County Sheriff David J. Lucero. “I also commend the business owner for immediately calling us when he saw the suspicious activity in the yard. Great work by all involved.”
