SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) has arrested one individual in connection with a Hilton Head Island shooting that occurred on December 1, 2024. On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, BCSO investigators arrested 20-year-old Sacario Ferebee, of Hilton Head Island, in connection to a shooting that left one man hurt. At 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2024, the BCSO Communications Center received a report of a gunshot victim at an apartment complex on Harbourside Lane in Shelter Cove on Hilton Head Island. The victim, a 32-year-old Bluffton man was shot multiple times and transported to Savannah for treatment. At the time of the shooting, there were two people inside the apartment. According to BCSO, throughout the investigation, Ferebee was identified as the suspect and warrants were obtained for his arrest. Ferebee is in custody at the Beaufort County Detention Center on two counts of attempted murder, one count of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and one count of burglary, 1st degree.
