EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - In Easthampton Wednesday night, it was all about good food for a good cause, that hits close to home for many locally. Nini's Italian Ristorante in Easthampton hosted its 12th annual 'Giovanni Daniele Dinner.' 10% of sales will be donated to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The restaurant owner told 22News why they feel it's important to help make a difference. "I think that the fundraising really allows for us to kind of at least contribute to finding a cure, so we can feel like we're doing something about it instead of just standing by idle and waiting for something to happen," says Owner Giani Daniele. Daniele added that the restaurant hosted a raffle as well, and the proceeds will also go to Dana Farber.
