GODDARD, Kan. (KSNW) -- A woman is in critical condition, and two others have serious injuries after a three-vehicle crash near Goddard.
It happened around 9:45 a.m. at 167th Street West and Central Avenue. Sedgwick County Sheriff Public Information Officer Branden Stitt tells KSN an Apple iPhone sent a crash alert to 911 dispatchers, who sent emergency personnel to the scene.
Stitt says a 33-year-old woman driving a white Ford Explorer told deputies she was distracted by her phone and other items in her car and missed the stop sign at the intersection, continuing east into the path of a southbound maroon Chevy Malibu.
