Montgomery County restaurant manager charged after using customer's credit card, police say

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Police said a restaurant manager is facing theft charges after she was accused of using a customer's credit card to make purchases.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD), an investigation revealed that in July, the victim ate at Silo Falls Restaurant, located in Brookeville, and left their credit card behind by mistake.

Days later, the victim received a notification from their bank stating that several fraudulent purchases were made on their card.
Police determined that 30-year-old Brooke Chambers of Rockville had allegedly used the card and made the purchases.
She was charged with theft and credit card-related charges.
