NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – A New Mexico community is getting a multi-million dollar grant from the federal government to fund improved infrastructure and affordable housing efforts.

The San Ildefonso Housing Authority in Santa Fe is one of eight tribal communities across New Mexico and Oklahoma to receive an Indian Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG). San Ildefonso is getting $2 million that can be used to fund general infrastructure, community buildings, housing rehabilitation, land acquisition, economic development efforts and more.
