Stoughton man pleads guilty to multiple gun charges

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A Stoughton man pleaded guilty to several firearm-related charges in Fall River Superior Court Tuesday.
Jules Tucker, 36, was convicted of unlawful carrying of a firearm, possession of a high-capacity firearm and carrying a loaded firearm.
He was sentenced to state prison for a term of two-and-a-half to four years.
Tucker was observed by a state trooper driving on Route 138 in Raynham on June 15, 2022 at 1 a.m.
The trooper ran a query of Tucker’s license plate revealing that the vehicle was uninsured and had an expired inspection sticker.
Before the vehicle was towed, the trooper conducted an inventory during which he found a 40 caliber handgun loaded with 13 rounds.
Tucker did not have a license to carry.
