FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Two vehicles crashed into a semi-truck following foggy conditions in rural Fresno County Tuesday morning, the California Highway Patrol announced.
CHP says around 8:40 a.m. they responded to a report of a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Jefferson and McCall avenues, just outside of Del Rey.

Officers report a semi-truck was traveling northbound on McCall Avenue when the driver pulled to the right shoulder as they attempted to make a U-turn. During that attempt, the driver felt an impact. The driver got out to see what happened and heard another impact, officers say.
As the driver of the semi-truck went to check on the other drivers involved in the crashes, investigators say a vehicle hauling produce was traveling southbound on McCall Avenue. The driver of the third vehicle, due to fog, did not see the trailer blocking the road, collided with it, and then drove into a nearby orchard.
