The Celtics-themed game, launched on November 19, immediately caught the fan's eye due to its signature "Celtic green" design. Reflecting on his win, the man channeled Celtics legend Kevin Garnett's iconic 2008 championship proclamation, "Anything is possible!"
Brian Rego revealed that he plans to invest his winnings, buy his wife a new car, and attend this year's NBA Finals, firmly believing the Celtics are poised to repeat as NBA Champions.
The lucky ticket was purchased at the Speedway located at 1502 Newman Avenue in Seekonk. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the grand prize-winning ticket.
The Celtics Banner 18 game includes five remaining $1 million grand prizes and offers a second-chance drawing for non-winning tickets, allowing participants to win Celtics merchandise and experiences. Among the second-chance prizes is the Banner 18 Challenge, where one winner will be guaranteed $1 million.
