A 33-year-old man was fatally wounded Friday night and a 30-year-old woman was left in serious condition following a shooting in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood, Chicago police said. About 9:50 a.m., the victims were standing outside in the 6700 block of South Western Avenue opened fire, striking them both multiple times to the body. The man was taken to  Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was pronounced dead. The woman was listed in serious condition, police said. He was identified as Laquinton Wright of the 6600 block of South Bell Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
