Hayden football falls in state title game for secondstraight season

HUTCHINSON, KS. (KSNT) - For the second-straight season, Hayden football finishes as the 3A state runner-up.
The Wildcats fell to recent 3A powerhouse Andale 36-19. The Indians pick up their fifth title in the last six years.
Hayden came ready to play, turning an early 6-0 deficit into a 19-12 halftime lead. Andale scored 24 unanswered in the second half, though, to put the game out of reach.
The Wildcats end their season with an 11-2 record and a second-straight runner-up finish in 3A.
