Firefighter injured after apartment fire in Soulsville

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A firefighter was left injured after a fire broke out at a multiple-story apartment complex in the Soulsville area early Thursday morning.
The Memphis Fire Department says they responded to the apartment fire at 636 Wicks Avenue around 7:30 a.m.

Teen charged with fatally shooting locksmith after allegedly luring him to vacant home
One firefighter was taken to the hospital with second-degree burns to the side of the face. No other injuries were reported.
Some families had to be displaced due to the fire, but the Red Cross was called to assist those families in need.
At this time, it is still unclear the cause of the fire.
