Park City Mountain will hold its 8th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting celebration at Canyons Village this Friday with events kicking off at 4 p.m. Festivities will include live holiday music, photos with Santa, souvenir ornaments, ice carving, a preview of Park City Mountain’s new après sweet treat, and the lighting of the Canyons Village holiday tree at 6 p.m., followed immediately by fireworks. Park City Mountain is open daily for skiing and riding from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. with terrain at both Mountain Village and Canyons Village. Dining options will be available at both base areas. Jupiter Java, Legacy Cafe and Legends Bar and Grill will be open at Mountain Village. Red Pine Lodge, Red Tail Grill, Umbrella Bar and Murdock’s will be open at Canyons Village. Après at the Airstream starts its new 2024-25 hours with the Holiday Tree Lighting on Nov. 29 and will be open Fridays–Sundays starting at 2 p.m. at the Canyons Village forum. Parking reservations will not be required at Mountain Village until Dec. 5. Free parking is available at Canyons Village in the Cabriolet lot.
