Rain is on track to develop Thanksgiving morning as Low Pressure emerges from the Tennessee Valley and gains strength while passing through southern New England. The rain will generally be on the lighter side in the morning and then can become moderate at times from midday before easing and ending during the early evening. Expect a general total rainfall of 0.50 to 1.0 inch. Winds will not play much of a factor, only becoming modestly gusty late in the day into Friday.
Friday will be dry and blustery as sunshine mixes with variable clouds. Chillier and, at times, breezy but dry weather follows for the weekend and into next week as meteorological winter begins (Dec. 1 – Feb 28). In fact, these conditions look to continue for much of next week, though we may see a clipper-type Low with a little snow or rain towards the middle to end of the week.
