Police: Fall River man arrested after drugs and firearms found in apartment

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Police said a Fall River man was arrested Wednesday after illegal drugs and firearms held without a license were found inside an apartment on Middle Street.
Anthony Kidd, 22, was arrested and charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm without a license, two counts of unlawful possession of a large capacity firearm, and one count of possession of ammunition without a license, possession of a firearm in commission of felony, trafficking fentanyl, trafficking cocaine, and trafficking methamphetamine.
On Wednesday, police received a search warrant for an apartment on Middle Street in Fall River, which officials said was a location with multiple complaints from the community.
Inside the residence, detectives found a rifle, handgun, suspected fentanyl, suspected crack cocaine, suspected methamphetamine, suspected Psilocybin mushrooms, and $10,054.
“We deeply appreciate the citizens who voiced their concerns—you were heard and we answered,” Fall River police said. “Together we can make Fall River a better place, one block at a time. We’re not stopping here!”
