FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Officers with the Fresno Police Department say a vehicle crashed into a building on the Fresno State campus early Wednesday morning. According to police, officers responded to reports of a crash around 2:12 a.m. Upon arrival, officials say they discovered a car that had crashed into the Water and Energy Technology Incubator building, an agricultural building on campus. Through investigation, officers say the vehicle appeared to have been traveling southbound on Chesnut Avenue when they hit a pedestrian safety sign and then crashed into the AG building. Officers say no occupants were found in the vehicle and they appeared to have fled before emergency crews responded. According to officials, no one was inside the building at the time of the crash.
