SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Springfield Police Department made 13 arrests after executing a search warrant at a home on Carew Terrace on Tuesday. Enfield Police search for man with active arrest warrants Members of the Springfield Police Firearms Investigation Unit (FIU) have been investigating a home on the 0-100 block of Carew Terrace for the illegal distribution of narcotics over the past several weeks, according to the Springfield Police Department. The residents and the activities that have been surrounding the home have become a problem in the neighborhood. Detectives identified certain suspects throughout the investigation, so a search warrant was applied and granted for the home. On Tuesday at around 4:20 p.m., detectives conducting surveillance observed two individuals, who were identified as 31-year-old Tylor Bombardier of Springfield and 33-year-old Ashley King of Springfield, walk to and then leave the Carew Terrace home. These suspects were then observed going into a wooded area behind Shaine Circle, both having warrants out for their arrest. Bombardier and King were placed under arrest. Four bags of heroin were found on Bombardier and a capsule of crack cocaine was found on King. An hour later, a car was seen pulling up to the home and a woman got out of the passenger seat. After a few minutes, she got back into the car. The driver drove off before parking on the 300 block of Stafford Street where detectives conducted a traffic stop.  The driver was identified as 67-year-old David Alexander of Blandford, and the passenger was identified as 50-year-old Margaret Davis of Blandford. Crack cocaine was recovered from both Alexander and Davis, and they were placed under arrest. At 6:15 p.m., the search warrant was executed on the home, and 29-year-old Luis Padro of Springfield, 34-year-old Ashley Griffin of Springfield, 43-year-old Scott Henley of Springfield, 43-year-old Melissa Goodreau of Springfield, 43-year-old John Friberg Jr. of Feeding Hills, 26-year-old Haylee Champagne of Hialeah, Florida were detained in the home as the results of the search warrant were pending. A firearm, ammunition, approximately 42 grams of powdered and crack cocaine, 23 grams of heroin, and more than $1100 in cash were found in the home. All of the detained individuals were placed under arrest. At 8:20 p.m., three suspects were observed walking to the home before noticing police were there. The three suspects were located on the 1300 block of Carew Street and were detained. One of the suspects, 44-year-old Monte Haynes-Carthon of Springfield was placed under arrest after cocaine was discovered in his jacket pocket. The two others, 28-year-old Chelsea Lucia of Springfield and 36-year-old Jonathan Cunningham of Agawam, were also arrested.
