CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) -- Feeling stuffed from Thanksgiving dinner and want to burn off those extra calories? People in South Carolina can do just that by visiting a state park for free on Friday. South Carolina will waive admission fees for all 47 state parks the day after Thanksgiving to encourage people to spend time outdoors. South Carolina shrimpers applaud decision to impose duties on shrimp imported from four countries Visitors will also be able to tour three historic homes at no cost on Nov. 29: Rose Hill Plantation in Union County, Redcliffe Plantation in Aiken County, and Hampton Plantation in Charleston County. Tour reservations can be made online. The parks department invites people to share photos of their visit on social media using the hashtags #OptOutsideSC and #SCStateParks.
