Man shot in SF’s Bret Harte neighborhood in critical condition

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A man is in critical condition following a shooting Monday night in San Francisco’s Bret Harte neighborhood, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
Police responded at 8:46 p.m. to the 1200 block of Gilman Avenue on the report of gunfire. Arriving officers located a man who was suffering from gunshot wounds, SFPD said. The officers on scene provided aid until paramedics rushed the man to an area hospital. The injuries are considered life-threatening.

No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting as of Tuesday morning. Police did not disclose whether any suspects have been identified.
