SPD arrested Jumarion Johnson in Nov., 2024. (Source: Shreveport Police Department) Police responded to the shooting on Thurs., Nov. 21, around 7:00 p.m. They discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately began an investigation. The Shreveport Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit identified a suspect and obtained a warrant for the arrest of Jumarion Johnson, 27, Police allege that Johnson shot the victim multiple times. Johnson was arrested in Bossier City and charged with one count of attempted second-degree murder. The victim is in stable condition.
