BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Thanksgiving is approaching and Bernalillo County is partnering to offer safe rides for Bernalillo, Sandoval and Santa Fe County residents. Albuquerque Luminaria Tour returns for 59th year Starting 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, through 2 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 2 the “Take A Ride On Us” program allows residents to use the code NMTURKEY24 on their Uber app to receive up to $10 off two rides. The program has a limit of 2,500 trips and is on a first come, first served basis. The discount code does not include tips and can only be used on Uber rides. The code can be redeemed on the Uber app under the 'Vouchers' section. The program gives the community an option for a safe ride instead of driving under the influence. Since its beginning, the program has provided over 52,000 rides.
