NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — She turns every day into Thanksgiving.
By giving thanks and giving away boxes of goodness in her neighborhood.
Her name is Maddie Do.
She's a high school senior at the Academy of the Sacred Heart.
LSU’s Tiger Football coach in the kitchen
And she's popular at Mary Queen of Vietnam Church.
That's where WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood runs into Maddie, handing out boxes filled with the kind of stuff you'd discover in a Vietnamese pantry.
"I hope to continue leading this project and expanding its global impact. But I also hope to pursue my passion in business," said Do.
The name of Maddie's mission is Cảm ơn, that's Vietnamese for thank you.
