BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- A Baton Rouge police officer was hurt in a crash on Airline Highway Tuesday morning. According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, a motor officer was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries after a car pulled out in front of him from a private driveway in the 9500 block of Airline Highway. The crash happened around 10:20 a.m. "We ask that you keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers as we wish for his speedy recovery," BRPD said.
