BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — A water main break on Bismarck Expressway November 25 may reduce travel to single lanes for up to two weeks. The break on Monday briefly cut water to locations between Washington Street and Third Street, but services were quickly restored. It won't be so quick for fixing the problem, however. Bismarck city crews hope to have things back to normal as soon as possible, but an exact timeline is unknown and will depend on how much damage has occurred. A preliminary estimate is that it may take at least two weeks for repairs. In the meantime, lanes have been reduced in the affected area of Bismarck Expressway to one eastbound lane and one westbound lane. Close Thanks for signing up! Watch for us in your inbox.
