Vacant building in east Austin catches fire Tuesday morning

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A vacant Austin Disaster Relief Network thrift store in east Austin located at 1122 East 51st Street caught fire Tuesday morning, according to the Austin Fire Department. This is located near the corner of East 51st street and Cameron Road.
AFD said they are unsure if anyone was in the building when it caught fire. Fire crews had temporarily pulled back while they actively fought the fire due to the roof sagging.
