NEWTON, Kan. (KSNW) - A 21-year-old Louisiana man is dead after a crash on southbound Interstate 135 in Newton Sunday night. It happened just after 9 p.m. south of 1st Street. The Kansas Highway Patrol said a southbound GMC Sierra left the highway, crashed through a guardrail, and vaulted. The pickup came to rest on the railroad tracks under I-135.
