NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Thanksgiving falls on the 28th this year, the latest the holiday can possibly land. With the big feast so close to the end of the month, many people are changing the date when they decorate for the winter holidays. KRQE asked viewers via social media when they start putting up holiday decorations. Most viewers (80%) prefer to decorate for the holidays sometime in the month of November, with just 20% of viewers polled waiting until December. Some like to start right after Halloween ends, while others tend to wait until halfway through the month. Many viewers have already decorated for the holidays, with one saying they started the "second week of November! I have a Nativity set in my front yard."
