PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Police in Greenbelt are investigating after a person was shot during an attempted carjacking at the Beltway Plaza Mall on Saturday. According to the department, at around 4 p.m. on Nov. 23, officers were on the scene of a shooting that happened in the rear parking lot of the mall. Responders took the person who was shot to the hospital. As of Sunday, there is no word on their condition. Man dies after house fire in Prince George’s County In an update, investigators said they are looking for three suspects in connection to the shooting. Surveillance cameras captured the trio, who were last seen fleeing on foot towards Berwyn Heights. Police said these individuals are connected to the attempted carjacking/shooting that took place at Beltway Plaza Mall on Saturday afternoon.
