EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash along Socorro Road on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 24, the Socorro Police Department said. The crash happened just before 1:45 p.m. Sunday near the intersectino of Socorro Road and Lisa Diane in Socorro. A vehicle was attempting to make an eastbound turn onto Socorro Road when a motorcycle heading westbound struck the vehicle, Socorro Police said. Socorro Police say the motorcyclist, who has not been identified, died at the scene. The motorcyclist "appears" to have not been wearing a helmet, Socorro Police said. The occupants of the other vehicle were wearing seat belts and were not injured. This crash remains under investigation.
