Multiple people displaced after apartment fire in SE Albuquerque: AFR

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to a house fire in southeast Albuquerque Saturday night.
According to AFR, firefighters responded to the Lacay Apartments near Lead and University before 10 Saturday night. They arrived to find one of the buildings was on fire.

The complex was evacuated, with the fire being controlled within 15 minutes. AFR said one apartment had heavy fire, smoke, and water damage. While no firefighters or civilians were injured, AFR said about 10 people were displaced due to the fire.
The Red Cross was called to help those people, and officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
