"Apprenticeship is the 'earn while you learn' model. It's the best way to get craft training and to promote our skilled traits in the state and in the nation, so for us to be able to have our apprentices showcase their skills, bring in their families, we bring in the companies and show support for what they do," said Assosciated Builder and Contractors President and CEO Carla Kugler.
The inaugural craft competition was free for all attendees.
There were networking opportunities and food. Also, Rio Bravo Brewing was on hand pouring pints for guests to enjoy as well.
