After several days of unsettled weather, it was a quiet start to the weekend across northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. It was, however, a day filled with clouds and below average temperatures... Look for overcast skies to still be in place as you head out the door early Sunday morning for any plans. Temperatures will be as low as the mid-30s to get the day started, so make sure you bundle up. Temperatures drop down into the mid-30s early Sunday under cloudy skies. We're warming up though on Sunday, thanks to southerly winds! Look for high temperatures to rise up to around 50°, which is a little bit above average for this time of the year. You can generally expect a mostly cloudy end to the weekend, with the best chances for us to see some sunshine being found in our southern communities. Look for occasional showers and areas of drizzle to develop, with temperatures still on the mild side; we'll only drop into the lower 40s Sunday night and we'll climb into the mid-50s on Monday. Take the umbrella with you to begin the new workweek. Rainfall amounts look to be light here, but we'll take more rain to help out the drought that remains in place. We'll keep you up-to-date as new data comes in. Confidence is currently low regarding the track and the timing of the potential for rain/snow. Where this system tracks will ultimately determine what form of precipitation we experience. If the system stays far enough south, we would not see any precipitation at all, or it could track just right for heavy amounts of rain and/or snow. Stay tuned!
