(KRON) – Methamphetamine was found on an armed felon walking the streets of Vallejo, according to the Vallejo Police Department.  On Tuesday, Vallejo PD received multiple calls regarding an armed man “casually” walking near Tennessee and Broadway streets. Police said officers located the subject walking on Tuolumne Street near Cassady Street.  VPD said the suspect admitted to carrying a loaded firearm and officers found the gun inside his jacket pocket. As police were searching the suspect, police said they found a “significant amount of methamphetamine.” Image provided by the Vallejo Police Department Man convicted of Hayes Valley quadruple murder Officers discovered the suspect was a convicted felon with two arrest warrants for arson and vandalism. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Solano County Jail for being a felon in possession of a firearm and a controlled substance. VPD said the gun, ammunition and narcotics were booked into evidence.
