Shooting in Wisconsin leaves two with nonlifethreatening injuries, investigation underway

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) - Two people were injured in a late afternoon shooting that occurred on the west side of Madison on Thursday.
According to the Madison Police Department, officers were dispatched around 4:20 p.m. to the 5900 block of Schroeder Road. The shooting occurred around 4:17 p.m. and two people were injured.

Officers arrived on the scene and provided medical aid, as both victims were taken to the hospital with injuries that are considered non-life-threatening.
The Violent Crime Unit and detectives are actively investigating, however, anybody with information is asked to contact the Madison Area Crime Stoppers.
