Suspect threatens employee with knife during east Wichita robbery

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Wichita police say a 45-year-old suspect threatened an employee with a knife during a robbery on Tuesday. The robbery happened around 7:20 p.m. in the 1300 block of N. Oliver.
Wichita police say the suspect entered the store, showed a large knife, and demanded money. The employee complied and gave the suspect cash from the register. He fled after.

Police identified him, and he was arrested at his home. He was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on a parole violation and one count of aggravated robbery.
