MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A large amount of fentanyl and marijuana were seized from a Frayser home during an investigation, according to the West Tennessee Drug Task Force. On November 13, the WTDTF conducted a search of a home on Helmwood Street in part of a violent crime initiative focused on hitting Memphis's most violent zip codes. Agents seized around 1/4 ounce of fentanyl, more than one pound of marijuana, digital scales, and over $18,000 in drug money. Two people were arrested. You’ve been warned," said WTDTF West Director Johnie Carter. Agents are working under the Governor's Violent Crime Initiative Fund grant. This case is being prosecuted by the Shelby County District Attorney's Office.
