CHARLOTTE, NC –  A firefighter was hurt Thursday morning while battling a house fire in East Charlotte.  Charlotte Fire said it took firefighters 37 minutes to battle the blaze that started at a home on North Sharon Amity Road.  According to the Charlotte Fire Department, one firefighter has minor injuries and was transported to the hospital out of caution.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
