'Prepare for a messy commute': Officials warn of driving conditions ahead of expected snowfall across Wisconsin

(WFRV) - With the first accumulating snow expected to happen throughout Wisconsin Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, authorities are issuing a reminder about driving.
The US National Weather Service in Green Bay posted on Facebook saying that 'confidence is increasing' for the first accumulating snow for parts of Wisconsin on Thursday. Snow-covered and slippery roads, lower visibility and longer commute times are expected, according to them.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation also posted some information on how the weather will affect travel on Thursday morning.

The US National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan Wisconsin said that motorists should prepare for a messy commute Thursday morning.
In addition to the US National Weather Service, multiple police departments posted on Facebook reminding drivers of the expected conditions. The Ripon Police Department posted that visibility could be lower on Thursday morning.
