New library vending machine coming to Desire neighborhood

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A new way to borrow books and movies is coming to New Orleans' Desire neighborhood.
Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans customers can track water use with new platform
According to the New Orleans Public Library, a library vending machine will be available inside the NORD Desire/Florida Multi-Service Center and will give residents with a library card access to more than 200 books and movies.
Library officials send the vending machine will bring the library's services to areas without a neighborhood library.
NOLA Public Schools to receive $20 million from city amid budget shortfall
A news release states that the machine caters to all ages and includes movies like "Encanto" and "Moana" and books like "Mexican Gothic" by Silvia Moreno-Garcia and "A Court of Thorns and Roses," by Sarah Maas.
Library officials said residents with a physical library card can use the vending machine during the NORD facility's regular hours.
