LAWRENCE, Kan. (KSNW) -- Pizza Hut is introducing a new limited-edition tomato wine created by a Kansas winery.
The pizza chain says the Tomato Wine by Pizza Hut "captures the essence of your favorite slice in every sip." The wine was created by Irvine's Just Beyond Paradise Winery in Lawrence.

The wine is part of a promotion, as the chain is bringing back its Triple Treat Box, which includes two single-topping pizzas, breadsticks, and dessert. The wine is described as "an aromatic blend of fresh herbs and spices with rich, sun-ripened tomato notes and a subtle hint of toasted oak – reminiscent of a perfectly baked pizza crust." Pizza Hut notes that while it is made from tomatoes, it tastes closer to white wines when it is chilled.
The wine comes in 375ml bottles and sells for $25 a bottle, with a minimum purchase of two bottles. They also offer a limited-edition gift set that includes a bottle of the wine, two Pizza Hut-branded wine glasses, and a wine opener.
