CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Day one of our annual Toys for Tots drive is officially in the books! 22News began collecting toys for children in our lobby Monday morning. These toys are then sorted by the Marines and distributed to local non-profit agencies and churches across western Massachusetts. Our station was joined by some special guests who helped kick off the Toys for Tots season. "For me, I like to see the kids happy," says Sgt. Zack Holman. "Kids are our future---and if we can make them happy now, then they will benefit in the future. They will grow up and want to do something great in their lives." To donate a toy in person you can stop by 22News located at 1 Broadcast Center in Chicopee. If you can't visit us in person to donate you can always make a monetary donation.
