5 charged in assault, shooting at McDonald's on Randleman Road in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Five people are being charged as a result of an altercation that took place at a McDonald's on Randleman Road that ended in gunfire, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
At around 6:57 p.m. on Sunday, officers came to the McDonald's on 2347 Randelman Road after getting a report of an aggravated assault.

The victim of the assault, 18-year-old Damarius D. Little, was taken to a local hospital by EMS.
Investigators say that a physical altercation took place between Little, who was working at McDonald's at the time of the altercation, and three other people inside the restaurant.
According to police, three people went into the kitchen of McDonald's, approached Little and began to assault him. Little discharged a firearm during the altercation.

Little, who remains hospitalized will be charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a stolen firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and discharge in city limits.
Investigators say the three people who are accused of going into the kitchen to assault Little are: 20-year-old Cory DeAndre Malik Mashburn Brown, 18-year-old Jiziah Smith and 18-year-old Jacob Johnson.
Brown and Smith have both been charged with misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor conspiracy. A warrant for Johnson's arrest has been issued for those same charges.
Additionally, another employee at the McDonald's, 35-year-old Kenneth Molles, is being charged with carrying a concealed gun and resist, obstruct and delay.
Police say that information about what caused the altercation and a possible motive is a part of the ongoing investigation.
