ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – UNM Men's and Women's Cross Country will compete at this year's NCAA Championships marking the first time in a decade that both programs have qualified for this prestigious event which will take place in Madison, Wisconsin. "Yeah, it's not easy to get there and there were some situations there that made it difficult, but yeah I am really proud of both groups and I think we are one of eleven or twelve teams who have both men and women qualified to the national championships, so we don't take that for granted and we are really hoping for two top ten finishes and its amazing to have two individuals in contention this weekend as well," said UNM Cross Country Head coach Darren Gauson. The NCAA Championships will take place on Saturday morning in Wisconsin. Both races will be aired on ESPN-U, starting with the women's race at 8:20 a.m.
