(FOUNTAIN, Colo.) — An investigation is underway in Fountain after a body was found on the east side on Monday, Nov. 18. According to the Fountain Police Department (FPD), officers responded around 6:45 p.m. on Monday to the 8000 block of Squirrel Creek Road, near Link Road, o a report of a dead person. When officers arrived, they found the body of a person and detectives were requested. The identity of the person has not been released.
