WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said Monday that a kitten was missing after people burglarized a home and stole the 2-month-old cat in Southeast on Friday. MPD said the break-in took place around 6:35 p.m. in the 2400 block of 15th Place SE. The accused burglars took items and the tortoiseshell kitten before they left the home. Police said people stole a 2-month-old tortoiseshell kitten when they burglarized a hom in Southeast D.C. on Nov. 15, 2024. (Metropolitan Police Department) Police asked anyone who has seen the kitten or knows anything about the incident to call 202-727-9099 or text their tip to 50411.
