SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A man convicted in connection with a murder over 20 years ago was arrested in Springfield Friday after police found a firearm during a traffic stop. At around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, officers conducted a traffic stop after they observed a vehicle with a suspended registration pull into a gas station on Main Street. An inventory search was performed inside the car before it was towed because it was unregistered.
