FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man in his 40s was in a rollover crash after saying he possibly fell asleep on Highway 168 in Fresno, the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP said the crash happened around 6:30 a.m. on Highway 168 near Shaw Avenue.
Investigators say the driver, who was driving a Toyota, told officers he was on his way to work when he thought he fell asleep at the wheel. He then went off the roadway, overcorrected, and rolled a couple of times.
The man suffered a cut to his head and was taken to the hospital for evaluation, CHP says.
